With computer equipped with packet and Satscan MIR was once again heard on 2m both voice and packet. The NASA web site gave me the frequencies (145.800 down link 145.200 up link). I sat and waited, yes there she is. Voice proved a no no, other welsh stations managed a reply but not me. 25 watts should be enough power. The next few times I tried packet. Success a reply from MIR. It read "sorry G7BYN MIR busy". Oh well you can't win them all. Now the new space station is manned, I'll have a go and this time I will succeed. Dave G7BYN. |
