WATER DIVINING

Don showing the group

   how to hold the twigs

Like a bunch of fools
we all follow
I found water in the Kitchen

Believe it or not, Water Divining is quite simple to do. By the end of the evening we could all get a twitch or two from the twigs.

Make some yourself from wire coat hangers.  About 1 1/2 foot of wire, bend into an L with the bottom part, the handle, about 4 inches long.  Hold one in each hand, with your hands together letting the wires swing free and pointing in front of you.  Keep the wires parallel.  Walk over the land to be surveyed.  They will either cross or go open when you pass water.  Yes it does work.  Try it!!

If you don't believe it, E-mail Don not me.

Great fun was had by all and may I thank Don for a great evening.

Don gave an updated talk to the BARC on divining, all of us found the water mains supply, apart from Bryan, mmmm?
