It takes me back, I was the social secretary for 4 years of the Beaufort Model Flying Club, and for a further 2 years I was Chairman.  Me Finks I should take up the Hobby again.

Joking aside, I took up this wonderful hobby of ours when my kids were little, it was really unsociable to be up at the flying site every weekend with my wife looking after the little ones.  Radio Hams can be on hand when needed.  This was however before mobile phones.

The Club has a regular event with the Bristol Model Flying Club.  It gives our members a chance to find out what it is like to pilot a radio controlled aeroplane.
